How to Prepare for a 24-Hour Funding Decision
The short answer
Same-day decisions almost always come down to having three to six months of complete business bank statements ready at the moment you apply. Everything else is secondary.
A 24-hour decision is not a marketing number — it is a description of what happens when an underwriter has everything they need on the first pass. The delay in a slow application is almost never underwriting. It is waiting on a document.
Have these ready before you start
- Three to six months of business bank statements, complete pages, PDF rather than screenshots.
- A voided business check or your account and routing numbers.
- Your EIN and the legal entity name exactly as registered.
- Driver's licence for each owner with 20% or more ownership.
What underwriters actually read
Deposit consistency matters more than deposit size. A business doing $40,000 a month across steady deposits reads better than one doing $70,000 in two lumps. Negative days and NSF fees matter, but a handful across six months is context, not a decline.
Three avoidable delays
- Statements from a personal account rather than the business account.
- An entity name on the application that does not match state registration.
- Missing the most recent month — underwriting will always ask for it.
Fix those three and a same-day decision stops being remarkable.
